Interzone has released the cover for their May/June 2011 issue, which contains my novelette "Her Scientifiction, Far Future, Medieval Fantasy." When I showed the cover to my kids, they immediate said "It's the Laputa robot from Castle in the Sky!" Which is no doubt exactly the reaction the artist intended.

Update: Someone pointed out that the ship in the background is from Thunderbirds. I'm suspecting the artist created a homage to childhood SF with the cover. It'll be interesting to see what other items people discover in the illustration.
